:: Pictures::

The kids, relatives, friends and people we don't know that rented our condo have all said their stay has been one of the best vacations they've ever had. Here are some pictures we took inside our newly remodeled condo and around the area.  Unit 107 has a great location with 1st floor convenience.

View looking at the condo from the water.

Look at these 4 beach babes--Amy, Maria, Ali, Beth. Wear that sunscreen, girls!

Our heated pool is always refreshing. There are plenty of lounge chairs in and out of the shade.

This is the view from the 5th floor walkway. If you look real hard you might be able to see Mexico. Look! There's a Frito Bandito wearing a sombrero.

Siesta Key has the best sunsets in the world. Bring your camera. Every picture you take will be postcard quality. People gather on the beach every night just to watch the sun go down. (and they hop in their cars and drive 4 hours to other side of Florida to see the sunrise, and they drive back to Siesta Key to watch the sunset, and then they...)

Our private beach has plenty of lounge chairs that SeaShell guests may use free of charge. There are shaded tiki roofs also.

Whoa! Check out this castle. Constructed by a pair of 8 year olds. The tide kind of took it shortly thereafter.

A perfect safe beach for kids and families. Warm gulf water, gradual descent, and super fine, cool, award-winning sand.

Our condo is spacious with the open living room/dining room floor plan. New furnishings and modern attractive decor make your stay enjoyable. Sofa has a pullout sleeper.

Master bedroom features a king size bed, bathroom with double size steam shower, large walk-in closet and private balcony.

Second bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 single bed and large closet.

Kitchen has everything you need and more. Fully equipped with stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and a host of cookware and small appliances.

Staying inside can be fun, too! There's a 27" TV, DVD/VCR and 60+ cable TV channels including 4 HBO channels.

Is this the coolest dining room table or what? When was the last time a pair of dolphins held up your dinner?

A convenient barbeque area right on the beach! You can reserve it at the front office for your family's use.

Chow time! Quality china, glassware and cooking utensils.

Renting a boat and touring the intercoastal waterway is a fun way to spend an afternoon. Boat rentals, canoe, kayak, bike rentals are right across the street.

You'll be amazed at the magnificent waterway homes you'll see while boating the intercoastal. If you head south a couple miles towards Venice, chances are you'll see some dolphins that will swim up to your boat. "Don't pet them, Maria!" Fingers look kind of like fish.

Are you enjoying the most recent Harry Potter book, Ali? Our thatch covered hut has several pairs of chairs, ideal for relaxing out-of-the-sun reading.

Men's and Women's saunas are located in the front office building next to the swimming pool.

Surf’s up! Or was that surf’s down? There is a great place for beginning snorkelers about 500 feet south at the Point of Rocks. You can wade in from shore and snorkel in 4-7 feet of water at the shallow reef. Here a fish, there a fish, little fishees everywhere….

Parking is convenient, cool, and safe. You have your own assigned parking spot under the building. Our parking space is right beside the steps and elevator making it really convenient. Even if it rains, you won't get wet going from car to condo.

This is the front of the Sea Shell building on Midnight Pass Road. Photo taken from the famous Captain Curt's Restaurant across the street, famous for family-priced fresh seafood. Be sure to try the grouper.

Sand, glorious sand. Winner of the International Sand Contest. No wonder The Travel Channel rated Siesta Key's Crescent Beach one of the Top 10 Beaches in the world. This baby soft white sand won't hurt those tender cityslicker feet of yours. On hot days, the sand isn't that hot! Go figure.

Aerial view of the beach taken from our Cessna airplane at 1500 feet. If you get a chance, go to the Venice Airport 20 minutes away and take a sightseeing airplane down the coast. Check out the waterway homes, canals and gulf. It is incredible.

Holy mosquitoes, Batman! We're airboating in the Everglades. For a unique day trip head south for a ride to remember. See real hilljacks and talk to live alligators, or was that real alligators and live hilljacks? It's hard to talk to a dead hilljack since they don't respond.

Exciting! Check out the Venice Inlet just down Route 41 on the south end of Casey Key. On a nice weekend you can sometimes see personal watercraft jumping the incoming 6-8 foot waves. Big fun!
